Helping clients make good decisions about their infrastructure.

Facilities Engineering is at the heart of our business.

Cammisa + Wipf has a robust portfolio of large, institutional clients who rely on us to develop, maintain, and renew their campus MEP systems. From master planning, to consulting about project budgeting to redesigning spaces to accommodate the latest technology, we have been their long-term trusted partners. We have been with some clients for more than 40 years. We’ve developed enduring relationships with our client’s facility directors and engineers, and understand their processes and priorities. We know their facilities. Inside and out.

One of the inevitabilities of large campuses is that, over time, changes will occur in the programming of a particular building, laboratory, or other facility. Adapting existing systems to these changes requires thoroughly understanding what’s there, and how it can be integrated into the new program with the least cost and disruption. We achieve this through our deep knowledge of the vast variety of systems it takes to operate a large, multi-building campus, and through our dedicated principal involvement. Our principals have each spent 10, 20, or 30 years learning about a particular facility, watching it evolve, and participating in most major infrastructure decisions on that campus.

With more than 50 years of campus infrastructure experience, we know which systems are suitable for a given situation, and which systems are easier to control and maintain. This enables us to provide knowledgeable recommendations that suit our client’s specific environment and meet their needs for today and for the future.

“Cammisa + Wipf has done several studies on our system. They know our campus. They know us. That is key.”
