UCSF, Campus Library 2nd Floor Telemedicine Renovation

Project Description

The state-of-the-art Telemedicine renovation took place inside the existing UCSF Library on the second floor and in ancillary areas on the first, third, and fifth floor. This project was especially complex due to the variety of equipment interconnections of multiple signal systems, establishing a new backbone to interface with the Parnassus Campus and other UCSF campuses.

The complete removal of the existing MEP systems and the design of a new system tied in different area requirements to the existing building infrastructure. To minimize building electrical shut downs temporary power was provided during construction and field testing was conducted of select air outlets and inlets and circuit breakers.
